Known for his dynamic vocal ability and distinctive tone, South London’s Dan Amare released his eagerly anticipated follow-up single ‘Dive In’ featuring MellowHoney on all digital streaming platforms on 23rd September 2022, alongside a music video edited by Dan and directed by both artists together.

The Electronic R&B/Alt-pop track was written by both artists to depict their struggle with carving out their ideal life and being held captive by their own limiting beliefs. Dan engineered, produced and mixed the track, with mastering from Likkle Jay (who recently engineered for Chris Brown's latest album Breezy). The story's tug-of-war is demonstrated by the ambient guitars & synths, dramatic drums, and triumphant soaring vocals in the final chorus.

“Mel and I met through a mutual soul singer friend Mychelle and we agreed to meet up for a writing session - neither of us had even heard the other sing. We spoke about our lives and our burning desire to chase our dreams fearlessly and hence Dive In was born. It came together so naturally and we both felt immediately the song would touch people. It inspires me to dive in every time I listen,” Dan Amare expressed about the creation of the track.

Dan Amare received enthusiastic praise from BBC Introducing panelists in 2019, had his debut single 'The Chase' featured in thebluesproject.co's Track of the Week, has performed at Sasha Keable's last 2 London headline shows, and promoted and sold out his own show at Notting Hill Arts Club in October 2021.

MellowHoney, with Congolese and Belgian roots, has performed across Europe and Africa, and recently opened for BET-nominated French Rapper Dinos at a London show.
